A Lovely Northern Virginia Location for Weddings and Receptions, Social Events and Business Meetings
The Thomas Birkby House provides a gracious setting for your wedding, reception, social event or business meeting. Its classical architecture, tasteful renovation, and superb location in the historic district of Leesburg make it an ideal site for any function.
The property includes the circa 1770 residence, a lovely white gazebo, a Carriage House, and well-tended garden areas. From April through November, a beautiful tent is provided for receptions, dining and dancing. In cooler months, smaller events are hosted in the residence where fireplaces create a welcoming atmosphere.
For weddings and receptions, the Birkby House offers flexible room arrangements and creative garden settings to help the bridal couple design a memorable day. Up to 150 guests can be accommodated from April-November.
Think of the Birkby House for your rehearsal dinner or other social event.
For business meetings the property is quite flexible. The Carriage House can accommodate up to 30 attendees. The largest capacity in the Main House is 20. Several smaller rooms are also available.
Ron Rust and his wife Judy Kozacik are the owners of the historic Birkby House. They purchased the property in 1998 and made extensive renovations including the addition of air-conditioning, restoration of six fireplaces, and decoration of all the rooms, creating a place that is cheerful and pleasing for all guests.
